This recipe comes from Paulo Bernardo of the Berghotel Schatzalp in Davos.
Ingredients
- 10 basil leaves
- 6 cl Botanical Garden Gin
- 3 cl freshly squeezed lime juice
- 3 cl sugar syrup
- Basil sprig for garnish
Preparation
Wash the basil leaves and gently rub them with your fingers to release their aromas. Then, add the remaining ingredients – lime juice, Botanical Garden Gin, and sugar syrup – to a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, mix, pour into any glass, and garnish with a basil sprig. For an alcohol-free version, simply use 6 to 10 cl of mineral water instead of gin.
Tip: Alternatively, on hot days, three slices of cucumber can be added.
