Schloss Wartegg

Schloss Wartegg is nestled between Lake Constance and the foothills of the Alpstein mountains. For over 150 years, attention to detail and exquisite indulgence have been paramount here. The meticulously maintained English park, with its own vegetable and herb cultivation, goes hand in hand with the excellent hotel cuisine.

Herbs, vegetables, berries, or flowers: Schloss Wartegg's garden, with its certified Demeter cultivation, not only invites guests to explore and linger but also caters to their culinary desires. Our own produce makes its way into the organic kitchen, recommended by Gault Millau and Michelin.

The English park, which once captivated Empress Zita, the last Empress of Austria, offers a tranquil retreat. Linden, plane, and chestnut trees invite you for a leisurely stroll with views over Lake Constance.

Animal life thrives with our own herd of Bündner Oberländer sheep and in the bee garden, which, along with the idyllic streams on the spacious property, bring vibrancy to the grounds.
