Red Line in a Landscape / Line Rouge dans un Paysage
«Red Line in a Landscape» is a large-scale neon light sculpture consisting of a 24-meter-high, deep red glowing light needle standing in a field.
The artwork consists of extendable aluminum telescopic poles with red glowing neon elements made of clear glass mounted on them. Inspired by Land Art and Minimal Art, the work uses simple, minimalist means to create a striking artistic accent in the landscape. This results in an intervention that can be experienced both visually and spatially, and casts the perception of the location in a new light.
