Christopher T. Hunziker

Christopher T. Hunziker (b. 1956, Atlanta) is an artist, architect, and landscape designer based in Zurich. His practice combines public art with light installations, spatial concepts, and sculptural works within the context of architecture, landscape, and urban environments.

His work centers on questions of perception, orientation, identity, and social structures. His pieces respond to existing sites and deliberately intervene in them. Although often appearing minimalist, they frequently contain art-historical references and address socio-political and philosophical issues.

In addition to his artistic practice, Hunziker also teaches and, as an artist-architect, develops projects for art in architecture and public spaces.
