Vernissage: Etienne Krähenbühl - Kartause Ittingen

From April to November 2026, three works by sculptor Etienne Krähenbühl can be discovered in the gardens of Kartause Ittingen. Krähenbühl's works, made of metal and wood, are mobile and react to their surroundings with sound and movement. Born in Vevey in 1953, the artist studied in Lausanne, Barcelona, and Paris. In his work, he explores movement, time, and transformation. He explores the possibilities of his materials, making resonances, traces of time, and breaks in form visible.

During the opening tour with Etienne Krähenbühl, you will learn more from the artist himself. The Kartause Ittingen Foundation and the Kunstmuseum Thurgau present the three works in the gardens of the former Carthusian monastery and invite you to join the tour.
