Jacob's Ladder
The work is a composition featuring a bronze angel and a bronze cow on an old wooden ladder.
The works were inspired by the Baroque angels of St. Gallen Abbey and Susan Kopp's love for cows.
And, on Jacob's Ladder, the cow stands as a symbol of our earthly existence, with the angel holding its protective hand over it.

About the Art Garden Hotels
From April to November 2026, over 100 works will be exhibited in the gardens of the Garden Hotels Switzerland as part of the Art Garden Hotels. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the works of 30 Swiss artists at 21 locations. The artworks were specially curated for the respective hotel gardens and blend harmoniously into their surroundings. This created a unique open-air gallery in each garden, open to all interested parties.
