But the reverse side tells another story, of what is not shown, of thoughts that remain hidden within. He would rather be a playful cat, light-footed, free, instead of the orderly man his partner wants to see in him (Figure 1). And she would rather do nothing for once, instead of always functioning amiably, as he needs her to (Figure 2). Both carry their desires silently within – yet they remain standing side by side, with all that they are and all that they would rather be.
