Brocade Air Carpet

Sculptor Renata Schalcher works extensively with metal and radiant mirrors. For decades, the foundation of her art has been Japanese calligraphy as meditative painting. The brushstroke flows into freehand drawing with ink, graphite, and charcoal, and continues into the design of her sculptures.
