Mountain Angel, Crystal Monolith

Sculptor Renata Schalcher works extensively with metal and radiant mirrors. For decades, the foundation of her work has been Japanese calligraphy as a meditative painting practice. The brushstroke flows into freehand drawing with ink, graphite, and charcoal, and continues into the design of her sculptures.
