Karin Brenn was born in Grenchen in 1962 and has lived in Trin for many years. She has been working as a freelance artist since 1988. Her artistic practice initially focused on large-format painting. Early on, she was interested in body forms, movements, and the expression of people and animals. This exploration later led to sculpture. Since 2010, she has been working three-dimensionally, including with a chainsaw. Her works emerge from inner visions and immediate impulses. The goal is to imbue the objects with presence and a unique vitality.
