Float Away
The Blow Chair – a design classic from the 1960s – was made of plastic and filled with air. In contrast, the marble version is designed for eternity.
Equally timeless is the human need to dream. The armchair invites you to sit down, relax, dream, and develop new perspectives. An ambivalence arises between the soft plastic of the original and the hard stone: the inflatable armchair could burst like a dream. Marble, however, stands for permanence and gives dreams support and hope.
The piece is made of Carrara marble and weighs approximately 1,700 kg.
