Double Dancer I

Sculptor Renata Schalcher works extensively with metal and radiant mirrors. For decades, the foundation of her creative work has been Japanese calligraphy as a painting meditation. The brushstroke flows into freehand drawing with ink, graphite, and charcoal, and continues into the design of her sculptures.
